Emilie grew up in Hamilton, Texas, where she first discovered her life long dream of becoming a physician in elementary school. To follow this dream she moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University following graduation from high school in 2005. While at A&M, she has thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with her friends. She has also been active in a Christian organization, as well as a medical organization. She also devotes quite a bit of her time to studying, of course! Emilie is currently completing her last semester and will graduate in December 2008 with a degree in Allied Health. From there she will begin medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center in July 2009.
